• Artist in Attendance SATURDAY, SEPT 16: 12-3pm

Jim Macgregor is an abstract artist creating with a colour palette that is intricate, yet quiet and calm, reflective of his introspective, gentle, curious personality. He follows the minimalist and post minimalist movements with a reductive style.

Technically precise, yet leaving space for the materials to speak, the texture and surfaces of his work are often activated and subtly transformed with light, a visual vocabulary reflective of his life experiences.

A menagerie of mini careers in film, theatre, formal art training and 39 years of painting has given him a wide range of experience with how to manipulate materials on the canvas. An authentic communicator of his calling and devotion.
